Like gold, silver is a soft metal, which is why frequent opening and closing can mean that the bars of the huggies bend a little and no longer close properly and securely. We will explain to you in a few steps how you can counteract this.

Step 1

Open your huggie by using your fingernail to loosen the thin bar with the grid (that goes through the ear).

step 2

Carefully bend the thin bar with the grid up or down a little so that the back part of the earring can more easily grip the thin one when fastening.

step 3

Close your huggie - you should hear a clear "click" sound. This way you know that the bridge is properly locked in place and will not open on its own.
